"Galaxy Patrol" was a popular space-themed promotional campaign launched by the iconic British ice cream company Lyons Maid during the 1960s. Children could collect coupons or wrappers from Lyons Maid ice creams and ice-pops (such as the famous rocket-shaped Zoom) and redeem them for highly collectible tin lithograph pinback badges representing different fictional ranks in the "Galaxy Patrol" space fleet.
