The Seattle Pop Festival was a music festival held at Gold Creek Park in Woodinville, Washington from July 25 to July 27, 1969.

Mountain - 1969

1969 promotional pin-back button for Mountain’s Climbing album


I came across the above button while web-surfing. According to the e-bay post it came directly from Felix Pappalardi, music producer and bassist for the band Mountain. The button was produced as a promotional item for Mountain’s album “Climbing”

The price asked for the button was $125.00 – 
The band Mountain consisted of Leslie West, Felix Pappalardi, Steve Knight, ND Smart – who was replaced by Corky Laing for the Climbing album. The album Climbing produced the classic hit “Mississippi Queen”

Commander Salamander - Washington DC



In the early days of punk and new wave, a visit to Commander Salamander located at 1420 Wisconsin Ave. Northwest, between P and O streets, was a young person’s dream. 
They carried clothing oriented to the teenage-college youth, including patent leather stuff, Doc Martens boots, cheetah prints, concert shirts, along with buttons (badges)

Thunderbolt the Wondercolt - 1952



Bob Clampett Sr. (1913 – 1984) was an American animator, director, producer and puppeteer best known for his work on the Looney Tunes animated series from Warner Bros. as well as the television shows Time for Beany and Beany and Cecil. After dropping out of high school in 1931, he joined the team at Harman-Ising Productions and began working on the studio's newest short subjects, Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. In 1952, he created the Thunderbolt the Wondercolt (a horse with super-equine powers) in a 15-minute puppet television series
