1-1/8 inches - The American Nut & Chocolate Co. of Boston, introduced the “Double Play” line of candy in 1946. A 1-1/8" diameter metal pin, and a 4" mini pennant representing one of the sixteen major league baseball clubs was inserted into each .05 cent box of candy. Sportman's League

The "Sportsman's League" is a historic, vintage tobacco brand most famously known for offering collectible pinback buttons featuring fishing flies, such as the Jock Scott. These rare advertising collectibles were frequently included as premiums inside tobacco tins and are still sought after by vintage fishing and tobacciana collectors today.These advertising pinbacks were supposedly premiums from the Sportman's League tobacco company as premiums in their either tobacco tins or possibly their cigarette packs. - Ruby Lane

“Tarzan” is a fictional character created by American author Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950). Burrough’s introduced his vine-swinging jungle hero in the story Tarzan of the Apes first published in the magazine The All-Story in 1912. Tarzan of the Apes was the initial radio Tarzan originated at WOR in New York City and was syndicated by the World Broadcasting System.

1932 Signal Tarzan Club Cello. Button (Signal Oil Co) In the first 30 days after the Signal Tarzan Club was launched by sponsor Signal Oil, 15,000 youngsters from California signed up for it. During the club's first year, membership reached 125,000. Another sponsor, Fould's Milling Company of Chicago, received 93,000 package ends of its products in eight weeks through WBBM in Chicago and CKOK in the Windsor/Detroit market. The proofs of purchase were submitted to obtain "plaster of paris statuettes of various characters in the Tarzan series."
