Yogi Bear vs. Magilla Gorilla – For President! : 1960

The 1964 cartoon campaign between one of Hanna-Barbera’s biggest TV stars and one of their newest characters inspired merchandise, buttons, comic books and a 45 RPM Golden Record.
Yogi had become a bonafide star, headlining his own animated theatrical feature the same year, Hey There, It’s Yogi Bear!, The new Magilla Gorilla Show–as well as The Peter Potamus Show–was part of a lucrative partnership between the studio and Ideal Toys. 

AHL - Philadelphia Rockets : 1946-1949

The Philadelphia Rockets were a minor professional ice hockey team based in the Philadelphia Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Rockets played for three seasons in the AHL from 1946 to 1949. Philadelphia had previously had a team in the league during the 1941–42 AHL season known as the Philadelphia Ramblers.

1966-Sep-18, WFIL (560 AM) Philadelphia PA, began playing "Top 40" rock and roll. It quickly became the most successful non-RKO "Boss Radio" formatted station, known locally as "The Pop Explosion". 

WFIL was also known as "Famous 56" and employed the slogan "Rockin' in the Cradle of Liberty." The format evolved into adult contemporary in the fall of 1977. 1993 changed to a Christian radio format consisting of teaching and talk programs.
