Dick Tracy is a 1990 American crime action film based on the 1930s comic strip created by Chester Gould. Warren Beatty produced, directed and starred in the film. Dick Tracy depicts the detective's romantic relationships with Breathless Mahoney and Tess Trueheart, as well as his conflicts with crime boss Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice and his henchmen.

The McDonald's Dick Tracy Crime Stopper game was a promotional scratch-off sweepstakes run in 1990 to tie into the release of the Disney film Dick Tracy. Customers received two-stage scratch-off cards featuring a multiple-choice mystery on one side, offering a chance to win instant food items or up to $1 million by matching "mug shots" of mobsters.

Casper the Friendly Ghost is a fictional character who appeared in animated short films produced by Paramount Pictures' Famous Studios. 

The character was featured in 55 theatrical cartoons titled The Friendly Ghost from 1945 to 1959. Casper has been featured in comic books published by Harvey Comics since 1952, Casper appeared in five television series: Matty's Funday Funnies (1959–1961), The New Casper Cartoon Show (1963–1970), Casper and the Angels (1979), The Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper (1996–1998) and Casper's Scare School (2009–2012). The character made his theatrical film debut in a live-action adaptation of the series by Universal Pictures: Casper (1995), to where he became the first computer-generated character to star in a film.
