
Little Shop of Horrors is a 1960 film written by Charles B. Griffith and directed by Roger Corman. The low budget film gained popularity as a cult classic. The film was adapted into a 1982 Off-Broadway musical by composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman. The success of the play brought a big-budget film production in 1986 directed by frank Oz of Muppets fame, with an all-star cast. The play made it's Broadway debut in 2003, with several revivals including local theatre and high school productions
