RSD Drops were created to allow sales of records on two days in June and July, rather than the usual single April date, due to restrictions from the Covid-19 pandemic
France joined the Record Store Day celebration, using the term Disquarie Day, since “Record Store” held no meaning to the French. Over 100 independently owned shops participated in the first Disquaire Day providing in-store performances and limited edition releases - 2.25-inch button
